Before retiring in 2017, Bill practiced for 44 years in the areas of transportation law, including practicing before the United States Department of Transportation, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and regulatory agencies in other states, and in labor and employment law, including practicing before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, United States Department of Labor and the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Bill graduated from Grove City College in 1968 and received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1973. Bill and his wife, Linda, reside in the Pittsburgh area. They have two adult children residing in Los Angeles and New York City.
